About

There's one guy who is the driving force behind Skunkworks Garage.  Let me tell you a bit about Bob

Bob is a long time Jamestown ND native and prides himself on being a small town guy.  His shop isn't that fancy, but produces some amazing vehicles, award winning, solidly built, and usually not forgotten.  Judy, his wife, has patiently helped and supported all these visions over the past many years.

He used to race on the dirt oval tracks throughout the midwest and shifted to drag racing a few years ago.  He's been bitten by the "go fast" bug and enjoys tinkering on these cars while sharing his knowledge with others along the way.

His vision truly is amazing as he can literally see into the future to assemble or transform cars from bare and rusted metal, to a rolling piece of art.  He is supported by many of his friends and family on this journey.

He loves to race and has many good friends in the Midwest Wild Bunch.  Two brothers, and several other family members are involved in the automotive sport

I enjoy calling him weekly for car advice and questions and he always has time to explain things to me, similar to how I explain technology to him.

Bigger projects mean we need a bigger crew.  A HUGE Thanks to Rod for his winter contributions on the Nova.  He's super reliable and very detailed when it comes to fit and finish!  Thanks for all your help

I finally managed to not just run the keyboard, I was able to get my hands dirty, pants full of gas and welding dust.  I enjoyed my trip in 2024 very much.  Thanks Dad for having me and taking on this big project.  I can't wait to continue my keyboard contributions and get back to help with other stuff.  it's really coming together!  (Feb '24 update)
