33 Ford Vicky

The '33 Vicky was an idea for Bob to build a great looking car that would be 'show AND go'.  it took him several years, working in the evenings and weekends while working to complete his car.

It's about 500 HP and 500 Ft-Lbs and sounds every bit a drag car due to the pipes, but yet it starts like your new chevy...the mark of show AND go.

2005 - The Vicky starts with a Downs Manufacturing Fiberglass body.  The first we are aware created with suicide doors, full drag pack and the leaned back grill.  Notice the safety cage with convenience bars...

2005 A better view of the flowing lines and mockups of the hood and engine.  The engineering in Bob can't keep it simple and must have a flip forward hood and custom, hand welded headers sandwiched into the frame...

2006 Found the car framed up, mocked up and ready to go with a fuel injected big block Chevy!  This car has driver and passenger 5 point harnesses to give rides in every year at the drag races.

2008 - The car was raced in primer fiberglass to work out the bugs.  Smooth and sweet colors were added with a lick of golden flame to separate top and bottom colors.  This provides an amazing looking car, don't you think?
